Ronny Temple

Ronny is a certified 5Rhythms Teacher with a wide breadth of experience in movement meditation and leadership that serves him well as he holds and guides OlyWaves. He is a published author in several genres, successful business owner, strategic planner, world traveler, and master sailor.

His most salient experiences though are in the realm of meditation and spirit. Curiosity and compassion eventually led him to people like Krishnamurti, whom he met in the early eighties, and to Osho Rajneesh with whom he practiced meditations such as Vipassana, Sufi Whirling, and Kundalini for nearly two decades in India as well as the U.S.

Ronny fell in love with the 5Rhythms practice around 2003 and seventeen years later is still in the honeymoon phase. A cross between a wise man and a wise guy (OK, a bit more the latter), Ronny focuses on nurturing a light heart on and off the dance floor. His teachings have a decidedly Tantric (meaning, in this context, holistic) flavor to them.

To learn more, please come check out my, oops I mean his, classes. Please note that neither OlyWaves nor Ronny Temple are associated with nor represent any organized religion or social group. His particular love for the poetry of Hafiz and Rumi, which you will often find posted on this site, does not indicate otherwise.

Shawn Swanson

Shawn has spent much of his life exploring the present moment through movement and athletics. In 1993 Shawn began his study of meditation, breath work and other forms of self-inquiry. Dance had been a love of his since his first middle school ball, and over the years Shawn could feel some greater possibility lurking just out of reach while dancing. This possibility became a rich reality when he discovered the 5Rhythms in the year 2000.
